Where did last year go?
I posted nothing last year, but it was a one of the best years I have ever had in my career.
I was nominated and won "Teacher of the Year"
That was such a phenomenal day!

We had so much fun in our class last year. I had such a great team. Geneva, Erin and Carma in the class with me couldn't go wrong.

I had a high school student come in for a job shadowing opportunity this year. It took me a few minutes for my brain to recognize her, but it turns out she was a Head Start student of mine a few (12) years back.
It is such a great feeling seeing how well your students are doing as they grow up.
Well. tomorrow is my 31st First Day of School. Getting a new crew of friends who will become family as our days turn into months, and we grow together.
